I feel like the black dress is always the no-brainer outfit when it comes to a last-minute idea for any occasion. Since we’re getting closer to Christmas, like less than a week, I decided to put together this last minute holiday look to help you get an idea to go shopping in your closet.
The key to this holiday look is to include the holiday colors red, green, or white in it. But try to use only one of these colors, just to keep your look simple but yet holidayish!
I choose the color red as an accent color for this look, (my bag and boots). I picked out my black and white tweed coat to go along with this last-minute holiday look. I added the fishnet stockings to make this a little bit more interesting with some dimensions and it actually went well with the pattern of my coat. Lastly, I chose to wear a newsboy cap because why not?

I hope you find this last minute holiday outfit idea helpful and people won’t know it’s a last minute thing.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Merry Christmas! Enjoy your magical time with your loved ones. See you again soon, my love!

I’m starting the Christmas countdown today because it’s only ten more days to go. Who’s more excited than me? I know you are! I’ll be celebrating Christmas outside the country and I can’t wait for the trip that’s coming up. So my plan is to do some Christmas shopping for myself on Christmas Day and it will be a lot of fun. Who doesn’t like spoiling themselves, right?
For those of you who’s still doing some shopping and still not sure what to get, I came up with today’s post to help make your decision a little easier. Last minute beauty and style stocking stuffers that you won’t waste your money on. They will actually be worth getting, not a gift to just fill your stockings.
See below for the stocking stuffer idea list. I hope you enjoy them. 🙂
Enjoy your Holiday shopping and see you again soon on my next post!

A Faux fur jacket is definitely one item that adds a festive look to any holiday outfit. It brings out that cozy and warm feeling that a good Fall/Winter look desperately needs. Velvet is another one that you would want to wear for this festive season because of its sleek and elegant feel. That’s why I put together today’s look. The inspiration for this holiday outfit was keeping a confident look with a festive twist.
For this outfit, I’m wearing a plunging V neckline velvet bodysuit I got from Forever21 last year. I’m wearing it with the Raw Panel Jeans by NA-KD that comes in mid blue and features a high waist, straight legs with raw edged panel lines down the center and back, and raw cut ankle hems. (Use code “bymolly20” for a 20% off your NA-KD.com order) ️
I also decided to wear my patent boots I got last year from Missguided. I picked a few similar ones for you to see here, here and right here. The faux fur jacket I’m wearing today was actually borrowed from my mother in law. I have to say that it’s definitely a statement piece for this look and for Fall/Winter fashion in general. I have linked some similar ones with a reasonable price point for you below
My bag I’am wearing is from Inge Christopher. It’s a “GRACE” Convertible Crossbody Bag that’s made with snake printed leather and can be worn two ways. It’s one of my favorite bags that you can wear all day through evening and for all seasons too.
I’ll have to say that I’am really not buying any new clothes this year since I’m trying to be more careful with my spending. It’s better to try and get the most out of what you already have in your closet than to shop for more clothes you might not actually need. You just have to make your outfit look more interesting, different and compatible with the seasons you are in.
I want to mention some behind the scenes story for this shoot. Finding places for a photo shoot is always a challenge, especially ones that you know you can get some great photos from. My husband and I stopped by one shopping center that we love to visit. We thought that this would be the perfect spot for this outfit. As we were taking the pictures, people were passing by and we thought nothing of it. The photoshoot went well and took us less than fifteen minutes.
Afterwords, I wanted to take the camera with us to walk around and look at the pictures we just finished taking. Next thing I know, two security guards walked up to us and said that we can only take pictures here if we pay them a fee. My husband and I were both surprised as we always take pictures there when going out to eat or just enjoying an afternoon with our family, and not once have we ever been stopped or seen anyone else being stopped for similar reasons. I defiantly think one of those people that walked past us said something and was not having a very merry holiday season. I hope she has a wonderful holiday though and wish her a Happy New Year. Share with me what you think and if you have had any experiences similar to ours.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Hope to see you again soon! 🙂

If I had to list what I liked about the holidays I would have to say “so many things”. What about you? What’s on your list? Here are some of my favorite things: music, weather, night light, fashion, sales, and the feeling of the new beginning.
The outfit I’m wearing today in this post really represents how I feel about the holiday season. I went out last week and took this photoshoot with my husband in the evening. By the time we arrived at our spot, there was no sunlight anymore. We were worried at first but the second we started the photoshoot, it turned out to be so much fun and I LOVE the pictures a lot.
The weather was cool, my pink sweater(similar here and here) and red skirt added a more fun and holiday spirit to the pictures. Not to mention the beautiful string lights in the background that made the pictures come out so fabulous. And my husband is getting better at photographing me, isn’t he?☺️ I don’t complain as much about my pictures like I used to do any more. ?
And talking about the holiday season, have you ever wondered why we need to have it? Apart from the religious aspect, don’t you think there is some meaning behind it? Why do you feel so happy every time the holidays come around? Good question, right?
The other day, I was wondering why we need to have 365 days in a year. Besides the obvious reason the time that the Earth takes to go around the Sun which is approximately 365.25 days. And every four years we have to add one extra day (leap year), just to make those years feel a little bit more special, why is that? The scientific reason behind it is to make up those 4 missing quarters. But the reasons behind it, I think, is to help motivate us in everything we do.
But why do we need to have holiday seasons, though? So today I came up with this post to talk about the 5 Reminders Of Having The Holiday Season. All of them are from my opinion, if you have any specific reason you can think of, feel free to let me know in the comments.
Reminder #1 Life is short.
The new holiday season again means that time has passed by another cycle. The more holidays you are going through the less time you have in your life. Not that it’s to make you feel depressed but actually do the opposite, it helps to motivate you to do something good and valuable for both yourself and other people. Spend your time wisely because you can’t take it back and relive it again. And before you know it the next holiday season will be here again.
Reminder #2 To have Hope and faith
The holiday season is also the symbol of hope and faith. This time of the year you are sure to feel something good is about to come to your life. The season has brought joy, hope, and faith to all of us. And within yourself, you might raise your hopes higher than other times of the year and you have reminded yourself that you have to have faith in yourself in order to move on with your life.
Reminder #3 Enjoy the time with your loved ones.
The holiday season is not the time to only be all about you. It’s not the time that you should only think about yourself. This season has brought people who matter together. Your family, your friends, and everyone else that loves you and you love. It’s the time that you should really spend and enjoy it with those wonderful people.
Reminder #4 Try harder
The holiday season is a yearly present for everyone of us. Because you’ve been through so much during the year, you might not have achieve everything you wanted to achieve but the holiday season has come to help cope with that.
You might have felt down for sometime and been waiting for the joy to come in. The holiday season helps cheer you up and to tell you not to give up on whatever you’re doing. You have to try harder to accomplish your tasks. In the end, the holiday seasons will be waiting for you to celebrate your success.
Reminder #5 You can Pause and Start again
The holiday season is the best time to pause and rethink. You can use this time to learn from your past experience and learn from all of the mistakes you have made earlier in the year. Use this time to recharge your energy, plan your new journey and get ready for the next chapter of your life. Please remember that you can pause but never ever give up.
That’s it for my theory of all the reasons behind the holiday season. I hope you find this post helpful and it keeps you going. I wanted you to keep these 5 reasons in mind and make the most out of your holidays and your life. Like I mentioned, life is too short so you better spend it happily, hope for the best and have faith in yourself, try harder if you think you haven’t tried hard enough, spend your time with your loved ones, they won’t be here forever either and lastly if you feel down you can pause, think it over and start your journey again.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. See you again soon, love!

I always wanted to wear a classy white dress like the one I’m wearing today for so long. What kept me away from it was that I wasn’t able to convince myself to feel confidence enough to try it on. But since this is the perfect time of the year, the Holiday seasons, everyone is excited to get dressed up. I thought it would be the perfect time to cross off all excuses and go for it. It’s definitely the perfect time that we all should stop dreaming and start doing all the things we always wanted to do. And since wearing a white dress is one of my fears, I wanted to take a chance and give it a try this holiday season.
If you have a white dress fear like me, you can try using my tips to overcome your fear. A few of my tips to help boost your confidence when wearing a white dress is to wear a body shaper slip dress or a half slip underneath the dress. This way you don’t have to worry about my dress being too see through and it also helps slim the body a bit. Another tip of mine is to wear the white dress with a long blazer or a coat. You can choose to do either one of them and you should be able to feel more confidence when you arrive at the party. But bringing your coat along won’t hurt neither.
If you’re thinking about wearing a white dress this holiday season, take a look below for some pretty ones I’ve picked for you. A few dresses are from NA-KD.com. If you decide to buy from there, you can get a 20% off your order excluding sale items by using code “BYMOLLY20“.
