Today, we will go over how to make your Instagram look professional at first glance as a serious influencer to attract brand partnerships and more followers.

Read on to learn more about Lesson Two: Make The Best First Impressions | #InfluencerTipsTuesday

*Disclaimer: All statements in this post are from my personal experiences and perspective. There is no right or wrong way to becoming a successful influencer as success is defined differently for each person. I share my knowledge with those who believe in becoming a successful and mindful influencer—those who don’t mind working hard to achieve their dreams.
Remember the reasons why you clicked that follow button on Instagram? Who was your latest account you followed? Do you remember why you couldn’t resist following them? Take a few seconds to think hard here.

Now that I got you to think about the reasons, in today’s lesson, I wanted to share the new lesson on our #InfluencerTipsTuesday; lesson two: Building good first impressions for the abundance of opportunities.

I will go over the primary keys to success in looking like a professional and rigid influencer who brands and followers can trust. So they surely click that follow button or email you to offer to collaborate.

Seven Keys to Best Instagram First impressions

ONE: YOUR HANDLE

Make sure people can read your handle.

When I recruit Influencers myself for campaigns, I often saw weird/ unprofessional looking handles, this is a first red flag, that I wouldn’t try to approach them as I don’t see the professionalism in them, and this doubted me for a smooth collaboration.

You have to make sure you include words that describe what you offer or use your name for your handle, not random words, letters, or numbers that have no meaning to what your account has to offer.

TWO: YOUR NAME

What is your name?

I don’t particularly appreciate when people don’t include their name on their profile because I don’t know what to call them. If you don’t have your name on your profile, please put it down ASAP. Showing your name in your profile can help you develop a deeper relationship with your audience. Brands also know who they are working with and will remember you as a person.

THREE: IS IT A SECRET?

Set your account to public.

If you set your account for private, potential followers and brands wouldn’t be able to engage with you and see what you have to offer. Setting your profile to public status is the best first step that people will decide on if they want to follow you or not.

By having your profile private, if someone chooses to follow you, they might decide to unfollow later once they find out that they have no interest in your content.

FOUR: YOUR PROFILE PHOTO

Show your pretty face.

Don’t be shy! Show your face so people will remember you quickly! Unless you are trying to grow your brand for digital or physical products, you can use your logo on your profile picture instead of your face.

For influencers who mainly share your passion and work through online content like pictures and videos, try to use the image of your headshot or half body that appears friendly and welcoming. Make sure that it is bright and can resonate with your content as well.

 FIVE: YOUR CONTENT

How does your feed look?

Does your content look good or just meh? Do you personally like your Instagram feed?

If your answer is no, things need to be changed starting now. Even though you might have heard a lot that you don’t need perfect Instagram pictures to be successful on social media but take a look at someone who has already made it, how does their IG account look?

As Instagram is a curated source for beautiful imagery, when you are serious about making it a source of your income, you need to pay attention to what you put in front of people.

You could still show raw moments and the real behind the scenes once in a while on your feed, but you have to stay firm on keeping your social presence on the perfect side.

Again, try to think back on why you are following certain accounts and not every account you encounter. Make your account look like the account you want to follow.

SIX: WHAT DO YOU OFFER?

Tell them what you do.

Sometimes, having good looking IG pictures is not going to do it, you should include what you offer in your bio too. People often get confused and don’t know why they should follow you or work with you unless you specify it.

You can write one short phrase to describe what you offer.

Also, take a look at the category of your account and choose the option to identify yourself either as a digital creator, blogger, model, public figure, or anything that best matches your business.

 SEVEN: YOUR CONTACT INFO

How can people reach you

If you want to make money or get gifted opportunities from brands you love, you have to make sure that you include your contact information like email on your Instagram bio.

Make sure your email sounds good too! Try not to use the email you have created a long time ago that includes random words and numbers that have nothing to do with your influencer career.

Snack Bar Decor Idea

Snack Bar Decor Idea

Remember this post when I shared my inspiration behind my in-home cafe corner? Now that we put our inspiration to work and it’s 99% done, we want to share the progress with you.

We couldn’t decide on a coffee machine, so we leave this corner as our snack bar for now

Remember this post when I shared my inspiration behind my in-home cafe corner? Now that we put our inspiration to work and it’s 99% done, we want to share the progress with you. We are still waiting for the bistro marble table and one more cane chair before we share the finished look.

While waiting to complete the corner, my husband and I have some time to decide what coffee machine we want, but it’s so hard for us to make our decision as there are many options out there. We want to get one that is functional and produces great tasting coffee so that we can visit Starbucks less often. Also, something pretty that would well-suite with our cafe corner.

If you have your favorite, let us know in the comments below.

Right now, here is how our snack bar corner looks.

We moved the drawers we had from the old home office and use it to store snacks, coffee cups, teacups, and saucers.

On top of the drawers, we have the water dispenser we got from Target years back. We are planning to put our coffee maker machine right here and move the water dispenser somewhere else. We will see how everything will work out once we have our coffee machine. We have the cactus light up in this corner as well, and it was originally in my old home office.

We hung two floating shelves we got from Target and have water pitchers, glasses, and a few cute mugs (female form mug and clay mugs) up there.

Our family has been using this part of the home a lot lately as we moved our dining room table outside. We are now treating this area as our snacks and casual dining room for the four of us.

We are planning a lot more projects around the house and can’t wait to share them with you in upcoming posts.

Lesson One: Define Your Path | #InfluencerTipsTuesday

Lesson One: Define Your Path | #InfluencerTipsTuesday

Introducing you to the new series on All About Good Vibes, “Influencer Tips Tuesday”– an ongoing lesson that releases every Tuesdays for new and upcoming influencers to become a mindful and successful creator from day one.

Read on for the first lesson: Define Your Path.

You feel like you want to become an influencer, but you are afraid of failing, so you say your Instagram account is “Just For Fun.”

If this is you, how can brands take you seriously?

When you think your Instagram account is only for fun, you will not have a plan and strategy to work on your account. Or if you have one, it’s not going to be a serious one. Because in the back of your mind, you said it yourself “Just for Fun.”

JUST FOR FUN

If you treat your Instagram for fun, you will not have a system to strive for success.

I want to be clear that I’m not saying that you won’t be successful. You will be one day, but you will not become successful sooner than you are supposed to be.

If you are willing to wait, it is okay for me. But is it okay for you?

Take Action

Today’s homework is to decide what you want to do. Are you going to take it seriously or just for fun? Are you looking to get free products, or are you looking to get paid (with free products, of course, it’s a norm.)?

Write everything down. Make a plan and start implementing it.

If you have” Just For Fun” somewhere in your IG profile, delete it immediately.

Remember, you are not doing it just for fun.

Three Ways to Make Your House Feel Like Summer | Living Room Inspo

Three Ways to Make Your House Feel Like Summer | Living Room Inspo

Today, I am sharing how to make your home feel like summer with three simple practices you can adopt today. Plus some inspirations I found to help me redecorate my living room.

Read on to find out!

Three Ways to Make Your House Feel Like Summer | Living Room Inspo-@curatedbymollie allaboutgoodvibes.com-Mollie Larsen

“I love looking at the clear blue sky in the summer and I love when my house feels like summer.” – Molly Larsen

This year is quite different than other years as a lot of us are limited to traveling and accessing public outdoor spaces. Many of us started working on their homes, which I think is the best thing you can do when you cannot go anywhere else. Make your home a “Home Sweet Home”; it sounds like a fantastic idea to me.

Before we get into the content today, I would like you to take a quick second and feel the appreciation in all the things you have. You are fortunate that you are still here today to enjoy all the moments and share your time with your loved ones. Be grateful that you are well and alive. Thank yourself for making every day happen and never giving up.

Now it’s time to make your home feel like summer with these three simple practices you can adopt today.

Three Ways to Make Your Home
Feel Like Summer

Summer-phone-wallpaper-@curatedbymolly-allaboutgoodvibes.com-Molly Larsen

ONE: Bring in flowers and fruits

Super easy, right? Summer is all about bright and the feeling alive. Having flower vases around the house or displaying some fruit basket on your kitchen island or countertop will add some fun summer vibes into your home. You can also change up your paintings and put the ones with flowers and fruits up on your wall.

You can also get some small citrus trees like orange and lemon and place them indoors. But make sure that they will get full sun for several hours. Even better if you could find an artificial one so you can place them anywhere in the house.

TWO: Add a pop of color

You can have a big project planned out like painting a wall with new summer colors and putting up new wallpaper on your accent wall. Or you can go small by adding a pop of color by getting some new throw pillows, colorful vases, or grab a colorful bouquet next time you go grocery (or flower) shopping.

THREE: Turn up the Summer tunes

This is the easiest thing you can do, and you won’t need to spend your money on redecorating your space. Make sure your home is a nice, clean, and bright thought. Roll up the curtains and let the bright light in. Then jazz up your favorite Summer playlist, sit back, relax, and repeat this step every day. Or whenever you feel like you need more summer in your life. As music can bring back memories and all the good times you used to have when you were on vacation. You can make new Summer memories at home! Sounds good?

I mentioned earlier that I am redecorating my small living room. I want this space to feel lively, bright, and represent happiness. Below, you can find some images I used as inspirations to decorate my living room.

We are still waiting for the chairs that won’t deliver until September! So I might not wait that long and will be sharing the finished look with you in my future post soon.

But here is what I already did on one of the shelves in this space.

Breakfast Nook/ Cafe Corner Inspirations

Breakfast Nook/ Cafe Corner Inspirations

Today, I have the photos of how I imagined our breakfast nook was going to look and feel after the completion. All of the inspirations are, of course, from Pinterest!

Read on to see what inspired me!

“The space we are spending the mmost time together in is this breakfast nook aka our new cafe corner.”

Hey, my love! I hope you are staying safe and doing amazing!

This post is long overdue as I was so busy with my new skincare brand that just launched. Check it out here: From Plants Beauty. I will go over what I am doing and why I started it in a future post. Not only that, but my husband and I kept surprising his parents by fixing and redecorating their bedrooms without them even knowing. One room per day and one week apart, and that got us supper exhausted on top of how extra exhausted working on the brand, raising our two small and big toddlers and trying to get our stuff together.

Our breakfast nook isn’t quite complete yet as we are waiting for the black marble table and a chair that won’t be here for a few more months. Ekk!

Anyway, here I have the photos of how I imagined our breakfast nook was going to look and feel after the completion. All of the inspirations are, of course, from Pinterest!

I will be sharing the finished look as soon as I get things finalized and ready to show you.

Here is a quick peek on how it looks right now!
