Becoming a mom has changed me in so many ways.

In today’s post, I wanted to share with you the five most important lessons I learned from having a happy family and children of my own.

Happy November, love! This month is a month of gratitude, and I want to make this post all about that.

So I want to share with you what I am most grateful for this year.

Take a quick guess!… You are right! I am so grateful for my happy family.

Earlier this year, I became a mom of two, and it is the best thing that happened to me. I am so grateful for having a happy and healthy baby girl.

I remembered since I was little that I always dreamed about finding the right man, getting married, and having two kids. My dream came true this year! ?

But after having two kids, I feel like that it’s not enough, and I want to have more. It is so much more fun and enjoyable to have more than one child.

Everywhere my husband and I go, a lot of parents of one child would ask us the same question, is it hard to have two kids? Our answers are always “No, it isn’t hard at all.” but instead, it is a lot easier than having only one kid.

I even got messages from old friends asking me the same question. So I encouraged them to have more kids and to experience it themselves.

I love being a mom of two beautiful girls and having our happy family. Big sis was such help when taking this picture.

What I Learned from My Babies and Having A Happy Family

Lesson One: Knowing What Unconditional Love Is.

I always know how much I love my mother and my siblings and I called that unconditional love. But the feeling of unconditional love that I am experiencing myself is when I became a mom.

I even told my husband that the love between him and I have conditions, but with my kids, there is no condition as I will always love them.

Lesson Two: I Am Stronger Than I Thought.

It’s not easy to try to figure out your life, work, balanced relationship, and being a mother at the same time.

Not only do I not get enough sleep and time of my own, but I also need to take care of others’ feelings and well-being.

But guess what, if you are a mom, you will be able to juggle it without knowing it. Your mind and body are stronger than you ever imagined.

Lesson Three: Perseverance

Even though I sometimes want to stop what I was doing, I just couldn’t.

Admittedly, I can’t pause from being a mom. I always keep going and do my best, even on days that I feel so weak and need to rest.

I have to wake up so many times during the night to breastfeed my baby. Now, it’s been over four years of breastfeeding non-stop, and I still keep going.

Lesson Four: You Can’t Do It All, And It’s Okay.

We all know how strong you become once you are a mom. But it’s always a good idea to ask for help when you need some.

It doesn’t mean you are a bad mom as sometimes you need some helping hands to make situations easier and happier for everyone.

Your husband/ partner should be the person who helps you with your kids the most.

I’m grateful that my husband is good at taking care of our happy family.

I’m thankful to have my mother-in-law living close by and to help babysit the babies when we need help.

Lesson Five: How Beautiful Life Is.

Before having a family, I knew life is beautiful. But I didn’t realize how much more beautiful it could be until I had my children.

They make me have more purpose in life, teach me new things every day and make me want to have fun and not to take life too seriously.

There’s nothing else that can fill me with pure joy as my children do.

I’m so thankful that my life is so beautiful because I have my beautiful happy family by my side, wherever life takes me.

I’m grateful that I’m alive and able to live my beautiful life with them.

What’s for Fall? Pumpkin, please? Everywhere I go now, I can smell the pumpkin spice in the air, and it is so good! Talking about Fall, the one thing that most people will think about has to be pumpkins. Every industry incorporates all the pumpkin benefits into their work, that might be the reason why it’s a symbol of Fall.

Last year we decorated our front door with pumpkins, but we won’t do it again this year as a few javelinas were stopping by the house in the middle of the night and ate them all up. My husband and I were freaking out as we didn’t know what was going on outside the house. All we could hear was the knocking on the door and the pounding on the wall. We got a video of the two big javelinas, good thing it was only two hungry pigs. Lol! ??

I love eating steamed pumpkin as a snack as they are low in calories but packed with tons of nutrients. It’s also a good weight loss friendly food that I love snacking on.

Not only pumpkins are good to eat because they are high in beta-carotene, which acts as a natural sunblock. They also contain vitamins C and E, as well as lutein and zeaxanthin, which can help keep your skin strong and healthy; you can also use pumpkin tropically.

Pumpkin contains fruit enzymes, a gentle alternative to harsh chemical peels to help brighten and smooth the skin. Vitamin A and Vitamin C in pumpkins can help soften and boost collagen production. With the structure of pumpkin molecule being small, when used topically, it can penetrate deeper into the skin to help treat a dull complexion, aging skin, and pigmentation. Who would have know pumpkin benefits can include so many great things?

Not only do I love Fall because of its crisp and cooler weather, but also it’s a reminder of the end of the year, and I have to be more proactive in what’s left to do before the new year comes.

The weather is starting to get cooler here in Arizona and I’m loving it a lot. I feel like I can think better and be more organized with work and things around the house. It might be because the year is almost over and I still have a lot of tasks and goals to accomplish. So I have to be more concentrated on what I do. Instead of putting more stress on myself, I focus on positive energy when getting everything done.

Last weekend I went though and cleaned out my closet. Decluttering really helped me to be more cautious when thinking about purchasing new items. In today’s post, I want to share with you the Seven Places I Shop Luxury Fashion for Less, both pre-owned and brand-new luxury goods for less. I’ve been buying pre-own, vintage items for quite some time and I love that I still get to enjoy the craftsmanship and the quality I put my money in.

I have to admit that I love shopping for shoes and bags because they are great accessories that can make your outfits. I used to have too many pairs of shoes back in Thailand, and they were so cheap that I shopped for new shoes almost every day. Now being older and wiser, shopping too much not only can break your bank but it can harm the environment as well. I started shopping less but paid more attention to what I was getting, both the quality and the money spent.

In today’s post, I want to share with you the seven places I Shop Luxury Fashion for Less, both pre-owned and brand-new luxury goods. I’ve been buying pre-own, vintage items for quite some time and I love that I still get to enjoy the craftsmanship and the quality I put my money in.

The weird thing about luxury goods is the second you started to involve yourself with it, and you won’t want to go back to the fast-fashion buys. You can see the difference and the worth of what you paid.

I used to tell my husband that it would be so hard for me to buy a pair of luxury shoes as they were so expensive and that I would have to put them on the ground. It would make me feel bad spending that kind of money for a pair of shoes. Bags are a different story because I can take better care of them, and you can pass them along to your loved ones. But that was an old story because the next thing I know I am thinking about collecting high-end sneakers. I’m a sneaker lover, so I would wear them all the time to maximize the value. Who knew I would be a sneaker collector now!

Vestiaire Collective

I got my first vintage Chanel here, and I love shopping at Vestiaire Collective as you get to buy from the original owner or collectors around the globe. You can see where your desired item is coming from and can track the progress along the way.

The Vestiaire Collective Quality Control team will review the item you’ve ordered so that it perfectly matches the description and pictures in the seller’s ad before shipping out. You can get a refund if the product isn’t as described if the seller listed under a PROFESSIONAL seller. But you won’t be able to refund nor exchange if you bought your item from a PRIVATE seller. In this case, you can re-list your item for sale, but you have to do it within ten days of receiving your delivery.

The downside of shopping here is that you have to pay for authentication fees and shipping.

I never had any problems shopping here, but you have to make sure you read the product description good enough to avoid any hassle.

The Real Real

I love The Real Real as they always have “Pristine” and “Item with Tags” conditions available to purchase. I got a few Pristine condition products from them, and they look new to me. The best part, I paid half price of the retail price. I’m still shocked to this day!

They have 100+ brand authenticators, gemologists, horologists, and art curators. They inspect thousands of items each day, so you can be sure every piece is 100% authentic.

THREE

ThredUp

I have been using ThredUp for years, both buying and re-selling my clothes. If you don’t know them, they are an online thrift store where you can buy and sell high- quality secondhand clothes and accessories. They added luxury goods to their store earlier this year if I am right. Sellers will send in their items, and the ThredUp Team will authenticate and verify all designer items listed on their store.

You can find brands like Gucci, Burberry, Chloe, Dior, Fendi, Prada, Coach, Kate Spade New York, and more on their site. Their prices are amazing, and you might be able to find a brand new with tags item from there too.

They have straightforward steps for you to follow if you decide to sell your items. Their check out process is also simple, just like you’re shopping at other online stores.

Tradesy

Tradesy was one of the first pre-own luxury online stores I have been drooling over for the last five years. Here you can find everything from earrings to wedding gowns and some are pre-own with “like new” or “new with tags” conditions. They have designer bags, clothes, shoes, and jewelry that you can pay for way less than other online stores. Also, you have an option to pay through Affirm, which is always lovely.

Fashionphile

I recently found Fashionphile on google when searching for a Chanel bag. They are an online fashion resale website where consumers can buy and sell women’s luxury designer used handbags, accessories, and jewelry. What’s also great is that they have several shop locations, in Beverly Hills, San Francisco, New York City and Carlsbad, California.

I love that on their online store; you can reserve the products if you still need some time to decide on purchasing. Within 180 days of your purchase, you can sell it back to them for 70% of what you bought. Pretty smart options that they offer, this way if you like to change things up all the time, you’re sure to be able to sell your products back to Fashionphile.

I found this exact CHANEL Patent CC Vanity Cosmetic in a Very Good condition. This cute vanity case was circulated during 1996-1997. It is crafted of black patent leather, features a stitched CC on the front and a patent top handle. This bag has the same design as the one I’m featuring in this post. If you like my bag, make sure to check it out before someone purchase it! It’s a lot cheaper than what I paid for, so be sure to grab it before it’s gone.

Gilt

Gilt is an online shopping and lifestyle website based in the United States, launched in 2007. You can shop Top Designer Brands on Gilt and Take Up to 70% Off. They offer new private sales daily. I love that not only you can find beautiful designer items for women; they also offer luxury goods for men and kids as well. I shop here a lot for my husband’s special gifts. Their Home and City offers are amazing as well.

SEVEN

Italist

You can get the new collection of luxury designers’ pieces up to 30% cheaper than other retailers as they express ship products from the best Italian stores.

So besides buying the products from Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, and the brand themselves, I always get my products from Italist.
