Are you traveling Withdrawals?

I wanted to create this post with everything that’s going on to inspire you and get you excited about traveling. Keep on reading to hear my tips and find out the five shows my husband and I enjoy watching and made us want to get back to travel again.

Let’s dive right in!

We have missed traveling a lot and wanted to find a way to travel while staying home. During these uncertain times, it can be easy to get caught up in the negativity about never being able to travel again like you used to. Even our five years old daughter has expressed her feelings and even cried about wanting to travel again.

What you can do to help with Traveling Withdrawals are:

1) Look at old pictures and videos from past trips to remember and enjoy the feelings you had when you had visited those places.

2) Plan out your next trip by looking through magazines, websites, and Social media pictures will give you hope and excitement to get you ready for your next vacation.

3) Find some good shows to watch about traveling as it’s the cheapest and safest way to travel while you are at home

My husband and I have finally been able to sit down and watch some shows together. It’s such a nice feeling to relax and watch a show about new places we have never traveled to before or recognize the places we have been to.

I will be sharing five shows that my husband and I are currently loving in today’s post and have gotten us excited to travel again in 2021.

Five Shows To Binge Watch If You Miss Traveling

ONE

Down to Earth

This show is about sustainable practices other countries are using to promote better living. We learned many new ideas and facts that had inspired us to live differently. The show barely has any background music or sound effects that make you feel you are traveling with the crew.

TWO

Street Food: Asia

As you know, I’m from Thailand, and watching Street Food: Asia reminds me a lot of staying and traveling in Asia. You learn personal stroys of people who live there and how delicious cooking food has given them purpose in life. After watching this show, my husband and I plan to go to Osaka, Japan, to visit a new place and try some fresh Japanese food. Interestingly, when I was studying for my bachelor’s, I planned to pursue my master’s degree in Osaka. It will be interesting to visit there with my family.

THREE

Emily in Paris

One of the most romantic cities everyone dreams of, Emily in Paris is about an American girl who gets to work in Paris. This show has lots of mixed reviews, but I have found it to be very enjoyable and beautiful to see all the different sights. You will defiantly feel like you are traveling when watching this show. Can’t wait for season two!

FOUR

Our Planet

This Docuseries is about our impact on the planet and how both wilderness and wildlife are being affected. You get to see some extraordinary shots of the world and natural habitats that people have never seen before. Our daughter loved watching this as she could see new wildlife for the first time. The show has inspired us to want to visit travel destinations that include exploring new wildernesses.

FIVE

Chasing Coral

If you like to scuba diving or go snorkeling, Chasing Coral will bring back some of those memories. The documentary is about how ocean life is critical to our survival, and coral reefs have been impacted by climate change.

“The use of traveling is to regulate imagination with reality, and instead of thinking of how things may be, see them as they are.”

– Samuel Johnson

I hope you get excited about traveling again and can plan out your next trip soon.

We are planning to visit so many places next year and can’t wait to share our trips with you.

Thank you for stopping by All About Good Vibes.

Stay safe and healthy, and I hope to see you soon!
