I never thought that I would miss going to school this much. I remembered I couldn’t wait for the school year to start so I could go chitchatting with my girlfriends. Even though I’m not in school anymore, I’m so happy to be able to put this back to school post together to share with you who are still in high school and college.

In this post today, I’m sharing 9 back to school outfit ideas with some tips on how you can style each of your clothing items together so that you can get the most out of your closet. My styling tips will help you start your day, your week or even your month a lot easier and without any headaches on deciding what to wear to school.

My pieces I’m wearing in this post are from my latest shopping trip at Kohl’s and they are from the SO clothing line which are available only at Kohl’s.

Keep on reading to find out my styling tips and to see what I got!

I

am so happy that I have a chance to share my outfit styling cheat sheet with you today. It was so much fun putting this back to school post together for you guys as it made me realize how much I miss being in school.

Besides all of the homework that would give me a lot of headaches, I still LOVE to go to school to talk, spend time with all my friends and of course study some new subjects. But before we get off track here, I want you to get ready and get some back to school shopping going.

Kohl’s has some amazing back to school deals going and it starts from 8/2-8/18. You will receive $10 off a $50 purchase!! So GOOD, right?

I went there and got a few cute pieces from their SO clothing line that’s available at Kohl’s, to share how I styled them with you here.

At Kohl’s, they have everything from stylish denims and trendy tops to casual lounge pieces you can either dress up or lounge around in comfortably during this school year. I love that their prices and their deals are as good as their quality.

You just really need to stop by your nearest Kohl’s or shop online at https://www.kohls.com, so you are sure ready for your school.

I almost forgot to mention that you can even order online and pick up in-store. I really love this option as it allows you to save sometime looking through their variety of cool items. ?

Back to School Outfit Styling Tips

Now let’s get right to my outfit styling tips, shall we?

Step 1: Shop for new back to school clothes at Kohl’s. 🙂

Step 2: Bring all your clothes out, both new and old, then separate them into two piles. One pile for tops and another one is for bottoms.

Step 3: Count how many tops and bottoms you have and write down the name of each of them in a table like the one below.

Step 4: Pair your tops and bottoms together using the table you just created

Step 5: Enjoy all your new mix and match outfits and get ready for a fun school year!

Isn’t that super easy and convenient?

These are all the 9 outfits I styled from my 3 tops and 3 bottoms I got from Kohl’s

Now you can have some fun dressing yourself up for school by using the style matching table I suggested above.

A few extra tips here that you might take into consideration when choosing what to wear are 1) You don’t want to mix two busy patterns together. 2) Matching two bright colors together can make a big scene at school. Just saying! ? and 3) After you mix and match your outfits using the styling table, you can eliminate a few styles that are in the #1 and #2 tips I just mentioned.

I’m sure you will be able to get the most out of your closet and won’t need to worry about what to wear to school anymore.

Don’t forget to stop by at your local Kohl’s and start shopping for your back to school outfits soon. Their back to school deals start from 8/2-8/18 for $10 off a $50 purchase, and you don’t want to miss that!
