You have to get used to the athleisure trend by now. Not only wearing sneakers with a dress that I’m talking about. I’m taking about the activewear apparel that is now the new black that everyone is wearing for to the gym or even going shopping in. To get you into this new trend that will be so popular in the near future, I’m picking one item that when you buy it you can wear it not only over your workout clothes or over a bathing suit, but you can wear it for any occasion you’d like. You just have to learn how to mix and match your pieces. The item I’m talking about is a Mesh Tee.

This one is from Alala, a luxury women’s activewear line with clothing for running, spinning, yoga, working out and hanging out around town.  Alala ISLAND MESH TEEcomes in black and white, with rib detailing at neckline and armhole, cut loose from the body and made with 100% Polyester. 

Today I’m going to show you how I styled this Mesh Tee in three different ways.

Look one: Day Date

Giving this tee a sweeter look by wearing it underneath a dress or a slip. Your dress doesn’t have to be gray or black but I want to keep the same color theme as the mesh tee that’s why I picked this denim dress I got from forever 21 last year. Adding a pop of color, I’m wearing Mandy high heels from IPPO and my bag is from Charles & Keith.

I’m wearing this mesh tee over a bra and a studded skirt. Carrying a DANIELLE tote bag from Lionel, perfect bag for a shopping day. My lace up sandals are from IPPO. This is a perfect look for a hot summer day.

Look three: Street Chic

This look I also wore a mesh tee over my bra but I tucked the tee in and paired it with high waist ripped boyfriend jeans. I picked the slingback peep-toe block heel sandals to go with this outfit. My SARAH bag is from Lionel.

Well, I used to do that in the past because I didn’t like when people can recognize what I wore. Let’s be real here, who cares about what you’re wearing unless they’re your fans. To be honest with you, since being an shopaholic isn’t my thing anymore. I have a family and a baby to take care of, spending money like it’s growing on fruit trees is unacceptable at this point of my life. So I came up with this new series on my blog to share with all of you how to style one item with different styles. 

Today I picked this cute midi skirt I got from boohoo.com. It’s very cute and perfect for spring/ summer. I styled it today for casual occasions. Let’s take a look at how I styled it below

Look one: I paired this skirt with a slogan tee, espadrille sandals and a wallet on a chain. Simple, easy and can be fun with what tee you choose to wear.

 

Here, I have picked some cute slogan tees for you below.

 

Look two: This look is very easy to put together, perfect for a lazy day dress up. I paired this skirt with a bodysuit, sandals and a straw clutch. 

Look three: A little bit of layering in this look, picked up from look two. I wore this pocket kimono over my bodysuit and skirt and wrapped around everything with this tassel belt. I’m making this outfit more interesting by wearing these lace up sandals. I choose to carry a structured bag to complete this look.

I’ve picked this black wireless bra from Uniqlo last month to try and I would like to share my thoughts about it with you. First off, I have to tell you that I’m still breastfeeding and I only wear comfortable bras. Wireless bras are the second best choice after nursing bras. Anything that can make my breast ( and milk ducts) happy, I am willing to put on. I choose this bra because I know that Uniqlo always have good quality products with reasonable price points. This bra is only $19.90, made of 83% Nylon and 17% Spandex. It comes in 7 different colors light gray, black, pink, red, beige, khaki and navy.

The sizes are from extra small to large. It doesn’t come as a cup sizing. You can see the size chart below.     

What I like about this wireless bra are: ​

  • It is very light and soft.

  • The solid design stays invisible under my shirt.

  • Even though there are no wires underneath, this bra still gives me a very good support for daily activities. I don’t recommend you wearing this bra and go for a run, but light workout will be okay wearing it.

  • Affordable price is another reason why I like this bra. You might want to sign up for Uniqlo Newsletter, so when they have promotional deals you will not miss them.

How to take care of these bra is as easy as hand wash cold. If you accidentally put them in the washer and dryer, you don’t have to worry about ruining your bra. I did that, oops!, but my bra is still perfect. Unlike my other bras that have wires underneath, I had to try to bend them, or cut holes and make them wireless bra myself, if you know what I mean! 


I am getting a few more in different colors. I forgot to mention that they also have ultra seamless underwear (bikini, hiphuggers and thong), made from the same type of fabrics as the bra. They’re so comfortable and visible underneath my dress. I like this Uniqlo underwear collection a lot.

I stopped using perfumes the day I knew I was pregnant, since then it’s been almost three years. Now I’m back to perfume shopping again, this time with my baby and she loves to smell the difference scents too. She’s my second helper after my husband. I started introducing light and non- alcohol scents like Burberry Baby Touch to my little angel when she was about 5 months old. She was okay with it so I was used it all the time, for all seasons.

It’s a light and delicate eau de toilette for mothers and babies. Rhubarb, orange zest and mandarin blend with gentle verbena and spearmint to form the fresh top notes. The scent warms with floral heart notes of cyclamen, orange blossom, lily of the valley and jasmine. Soft moss, sweet vanilla and milk compose are the base notes of this soothing fragrance. 

A few months ago I went back to perfume shopping again so today I would like to share with you my favorite Spring/ Summer perfumes that you might want to give a try. I’ve divided them into three groups, delicious, floral, and sophisticated scents.

DELICIOUS SCENT

 If I had to pick my most favorite scents for any day and occasion I would probably pick MAC Crème d’Nude Shadescent and I would pick Mon Paris Eau de Parfum Star Collector for a date night. These two have a mix of personalities, fun, flirty, sweet and sophisticated. Both scents represent me the most! 🙂
