Fall is almost here and I can’t wait for it to start! Who’s with me?
I know some of you might not want summer to end but if you live here or visit Arizona in the summer, you would know how hot it can get and you would know how desperate we want the rain and cold weather to come by. This “Fall Must Have” post might be a little bit too soon to talk since I’m living in Arizona but you guys are all around the world, why not start bringing a few fall must have items out to get ready for the cooler weather.
I picked only 3 fall must have items to start the new season with. You can either bring some out of your closet or get some new ones if you don’t want to wear your old cloths from last fall season.
In this post, the only new fall item is the sweater I got from Revolve last week. But other than that all of the items are old from last fall. I will keep this post short because I don’t want you to miss the REVOLVE GIVEAWAY I’m hosting and you can enter at the end of this post.
Knit Sweater
Knit sweater is a must have item for fall because it isn’t too thick or too thin to wear for the cooler temperatures. It can keep you warm enough when that fall wind blows your way. Best of all is that you can pretty much wear it with anything. That’s why I think it’s one of the fall must haves.
Ankle Boots
Another item I would recommend to bring out from your shoe closet are the ankle boots. Your booties will keep your feet warm, comfortable and you will totally look stylish.
Structured Bag
These types of bags have been so popular since last fall and it will be in for this fall as well. I started seeing them all over magazines. A lot of brands keep coming out with new colors and styles, you might want to get one or two for your fall closet. I actually just bought a ton of them last week. Really, I just couldn’t help myself when it comes to structured bags. I will be sharing them with you later next month on what I got.

This post had been a long waited post I’ve been waiting to share with you all. If you’ve noticed and stopped by my blog often you might have wondered where did I go. I wasn’t active here for a couple of months due to my pregnancy symptoms. If you’re following me on Instagram, you might have spotted the baby bump in some of the photos! Yes, I’m pregnant with baby number two and have been dying to share the good news here.
Since this post is my pregnancy announcement, I’m not going to get into my pregnancy symptoms just yet. But I’ll be talking all about my symptoms soon on the upcoming post.
Pregnancy Announcement Ideas
After searching and spending a lot of time on Pinterest to find the perfect idea for ourpregnancy announcement, my husband and I finally came up with our pregnancy announcement idea.
Idea 1
We were going to do something funny like making a funny movie poster and say coming soon.
Idea 2
Another one was to share the news with balloons saying baby #2 due 02/19. Well, we actually did this option and ended up not liking it. You can see the photos below.
I was 9 weeks 5 days pregnant when we took this photo.
Final Idea
After all of the searching and talking, we finally knew what we wanted this pregnancy announcement to be, Magic in the Forest theme. Something thats quite hard to try and make happen in this desert city but we did it and it came out better than what we were imagining.
The hardest part of all, besides getting all the outfits and props together, was to make our daughter, Alida, happily participating in this pregnancy announcement. She is super excited about having a little brother or a sister but she’s an active toddler which means it’s hard to make her follow photoshoot instructions.
If you have taken pictures with your child before you might be able to relate with us. She’s going to turn three next month and you know how toddlers are. Hard to predict, right? So we brought her favorite toys with us and had to bring her lots of incentives because what she loves the most are surprise presents. At the end of the photoshoot she got tons of presents for smiling and standing still in the photos. Mission accomplished! 🙂

Let’s talk about outfits a little bit. My husbands whole look was provided by The Black Tux, it was provided for our Instagram pregnancy announcement sponsored post but I decided to share this with you on All About Good Vibes too.

Mommy’s Outfit
Now my dress, you might be surprised with the original price of my gown ($800), I got this beauty wedding gown from BHLDN but I got it for only $200. They have plenty of on sale gowns that are all gorgeous and will save you a ton. But the challenging part of finding the gowns here was to find the right size that they still have available in stock.
I was searching for my white gown from different places but I couldn’t find the one until I looked for a wedding gown. But well, I don’t want to spend that much money for my photoshoot so I went to the on sales category instead. My halo was also from BHLDN and I scored it at $40. Both pieces are still available as of today, so be sure you check them out before they are gone. My earrings are from For Love and Lemons.
Let’s move on to my gorgeous shoes, they were gifted to me to help complete my look on this special announcement. Thank you, Bella Belle Shoes. Big Sister’s Outfit
Moving on to my daughters outfit, everything was from Nordstrom (dress and shoes). It took me a little longer to get her outfit because she wanted to wear fuchsia pink shoes and a pretty blue dress. I can’t blame her, she just loves colorful stuff so I had to hide the online shopping to myself. Another challenging part of this whole announcement was to try and get Alida to wear her floral crown. It’s from Amazon. She just doesn’t like anything on her head, and I don’t like making her uncomfortable. But we ended up using it when she let us for a few minutes and she looked so adorable with it on.
I didn’t use a lot of props, only two lettering boards (big (16*12) and small (10*10)) I also got them from amazon and the flowers I picked up from Safeway.
On the photoshoot day, I was 14 weeks exact. We’re so happy that we are now expecting our second child. If you read my post earlier this year, you would know that one of our goals to shoot for is to have our second baby and now we are pregnant. Even though I’m the one that’s pregnant but everyone in the family is feeling that they’re pregnant too!
I can’t wait to share my journey with all of you through this pregnancy.

This time of year, is all about sunny blue skies, warm summer breezes and fun backyard BBQ parties! What better way to celebrate a beautiful sunny day than with a backyard BBQ party, right? This year I started of my summer with something fun, I had a chance to throw a backyard BBQ with Dr Pepper and had so much fun putting it all together. From the food we ate, to having all the right supplies, Walmart was our go destination.
My husband and I went to our local Walmart to stock up on all the essentials to get ready for our special event. We loaded up on party supplies, chips, dip and most importantly, Dr Pepper. We bought a 12 oz. 12 pk cans, a 7.5 oz. 15 pk cans and a few bottles so everyone would get to satisfy their thirst their own way.
I wasn’t surprised that everyone loved that we had Dr Pepper for them to enjoy on such a hot summers day and loved the theme we were able to create. I was a happy host for the day!

Now, let’s get back into what I did with my backyard BBQ party.
DEFINE YOUR THEME
We went for a simple blue and yellow theme with a twist of western cactus and flowers. When creating a theme for a party, I suggest you have two to three main colors and stick with them. It’s just to make sure your party is unique and memorable. Another thing is that you don’t want to overwhelm your guests with too many colors. As summer is all about vibrant and bright colors, I wanted our centerpiece to say that, with a variety of beautiful, colorful flowers but I still had the majority of them in yellow.
I’m not going to talk about the food as each family has their own BBQ styles or favorite foods. But I would love to mention about one simple but special treat here.
FUN PARTY TREAT
One sweet treat that I experimented on were some Dr Pepper popsicles. When I was a kid, I loved making my own popsicles at home because of how cool and refreshing they made me feel on such hot summer days. I took a can of Dr. Pepper and poured it into some plastic popsicle molds, snapped on the colorful handles and popped them into the freezer to set. I almost couldn’t wait for them to set so I kept opening up the freezer again and again. They’re just so good and I highly recommend for you to try them for your summer party.
One tip, make sure you don’t fill the molds all the way to the top as the carbonation will fizz over and make a big mess in your freezer! Yikes! I learned that the hard way, made a second batch and was still able to come out with some cool and refreshing Dr Pepper popsicles.
Last but not least, you will see the fun, unique “Pick Your Pepper” packaging designed by millennials, for millennials that will be available in stores starting on June 15th, 2018. I’m already planning to stop by #Walmart again for the new Dr Pepper packaging this week. I can’t wait to see how fun their new #PickYourPepper will be. I might throw another summer party, who knows!

These eye masks didn’t bother me during the night at all. I ended up having them on for 10 hours.
Pros and Cons
Now let’s talk about what I like and dislike about this product.
Pros:
Noticeable results after only one use. I could see my under-eyes appear lighter and feel firmer.
Very easy to use like I’ve mentioned above, just peel, stick, and go to sleep. That easy!
Unscented – I love that there is no powerful scent or any scents at all on these eye mask pads.
These eye mask pads do stick all night.

You might need to get used to the pads before you head to sleep. If you don’t feel comfortable to sleep with the pads, you can apply them on during the day for 2- 4 hours, you will see the same results.

I’m absolutely in love with the jelly like material, it reminds me of Aloe Vera which is super refreshing and non sticky. One fabric that I see quite a lot of in spring and summer is lace. I often see a mix of lace and eyelets as well during this time of the year. Lace is a lovely and delicate fabric mostly used in special occasions like weddings for a wedding gown. But nowadays you probably see so many lace summer dresses everywhere. Even though lace comes in different colors, the must have color for spring and summer would have to be White.
