This week is already Thanksgiving week and I am so happy to share with you this holiday outfit idea especially this “The Way You Make Me Feel Cardigan“.
The color of this cardigan is perfect for the season. With its shiny fur material, makes it extra special to own and to show off with your family and friends. It features a shaggy design, relaxed, longline silhouette, and open front. I love that it’s very light and super reflective when moving around.
If you’re looking for a last minute holiday outfit to wear on Thanksgiving day, you still have sometime to shop this cardigan, just don’t forget to check out with express shipping. 😉
But don’t worry if you couldn’t get it in time, you can wear this cardigan to a holiday party which will be fun and I bet you will get a lot of compliments for sure. I have picked quite a few long cardigans for you below.
Holiday Cardigans
My husband took these photos of me in front of the hotel we stayed in Tokyo, Japan. We were staying in a business district, not a busy tourist area, and we loved it a lot. You might be able to notice from the photos of businessmen/women walking to work.
We woke up around 3:30 a.m. because of the jet lag and by the time we were ready to go, it was around 7 a.m. or so. It was our day two there so we decided to explore the area around where we stayed a little bit and had some breakfast at one of the restaurants.
What impressed me the most that day was at the restaurant. We had to pick our food and pay for it at a vending machine located in front of the restaurant. The machine then printed out our ticket order and we had to give that ticket to the cook. We waited a few minutes and the cooked then called us up when our order was ready. It was a really cool experience.
After we finished breakfast, we headed back to the hotel and I did a lot of holiday photo shoots around the hotel area. You can check out all of my holiday outfits I posted to get some ideas for this holiday season.

It’s that joyous time of the year again and everyone is busy shopping for gifts, planning and hosting parties, and looking to send out holiday greeting cards. With all of the joyful tasks you have to do, I don’t want you to run out of energy, so I am sharing with you today 3 tips to create a memorable personalized holiday card with ease. So, you will get this family photoshoot ready and won’t have to deal with unnecessary stress.
Let’s dive into it.
Tip #1
Know where to take pictures and who will be your photographer
Planning where to take a picture is the first most important matter you should take it in consideration. If you have never been to the place before, I recommend you take an hour of your day to go visit the place and find the right spot you think will look good on your card.
You should go to there around the same time you’re planning to do a real photoshoot, to see how slow or busy your venue is. Planning where to take pictures ahead of time, will lower your stress and make everything a lot easier for your photoshoot day.
Looking into the rules and regulations of the place is also a good idea because some place will ask you to pay or will fine you if you take pictures without permission.
Knowing who will take your picture is also a must. Are you going to hire a professional photographer or will you ask your family member for a favor to take family photo for you.
If you’re planning to take pictures at your own home, that’s the best place of all. Make sure you list down all of your props and have them ready for your day.
This year we took a trip to Japan and planned to do a Christmas card photoshoot there. So we picked a garden near our hotel as a venue, Kiyosumi Garden. It is a traditional Japanese stroll garden located in Fukagawa, Tokyo. It was constructed along classic principles in 1878-85, during the Meiji Period. There are three big islands and a teahouse on the pond. The garden covers an area of about 81,000 square meters. (Source: Wikipedia)
We love the greenery, the bonsai trees and the architecture, that will make our card a little bit different than a usual Holiday cards. Here are a few photos from the garden and the photos we are using on our family photo Christmas card.
Tip #2
Know who will be in the pictures and what to wear
This might sound like a no brainer but seriously knowing who will be in the picture is a must. Will you include your furry baby(ies)? Knowing the amount of people can make your shoot go smoothly and you will be sure not to forget anyone.
With this tip, it will help you arrange the right outfits or special costumes for each person. Or at least you can tell everyone what type of cloths and or color you would like them to wear.
For our family, we tried and packed our outfits in the suitcase and once we were in Japan, we were ready to get everything done.

I’m into Cruelty Free & Vegan products this year as you already know. So I’m sharing this cute gift under $25 idea (Cruelty Free & Vegan products of course!) today for those who are on a budget to shop for their girlfriends and family.
I received these Cruelty Free & Vegan Nail Lacquers and So Rich Cuticle Oil Duo from NCLA to review on my Instagram. Since I’m very impressed with their products and I know they will make good gifts so I decided to go ahead and create this short Holiday Gift Gide post for you here today.
I’m getting excited about the upcoming holidays, so I am preparing a lot of my Holiday outfit ideas to share with you this year. Our family took a trip to Japan, so I did a lot of photoshoots there. The weather was nice and the scenery were different than our AZ desert, so it would be interesting to see how they turn out and how you will like them. I hope you will enjoy my holiday outfit series this year.
Today I will start with this green velvet jacket I got from Missguided. They don’t have a lot of sizes left so I linked a lot of pretty ones for you below.
Green Velvet Jacket
Holiday Velvet Jacket
Talking about the Holiday Seasons, one fabric that came up in our minds when deciding on a holiday wear like Christmas outfits and other holiday party outfits was Velvet. Because it is one of the most popular fabrics during the holidays not only because it’s a gorgeous fabric, but it also keeps you warm during the cold season.
Velvet comes in various shades and colors but the most popular colors for the holidays has to be green, red, gold, black and white. I’m picking green because it’s a super gorgeous color that screams Holidays to me.
The way how I pair my velvet jacket is with some simple cut pieces, like this green mini dress I’m wearing. You can wear it with long pants and a turtle neck sweater or anything thats not too over the top. I would recommend keeping everything simple to show off your pretty velvet jacket.
That’s it for today, simple and easy. You only need to find the right velvet jacket and pair it with your current simple cut pieces in your closet. Let’s start your holiday off right and make the best out of your holiday outfits this year.

Happy new week love! I’m so excited to share with you today the first Holiday Gift Guide of the year. This year I am taking my gift guide to the next level because I am now paying more attention to what I choose to put on my skin and yours. So this gift guide will be about clean and cruelty free makeup products. Either you want to gift yourself or start introducing all clean makeup to your loved ones, this post will be a perfect place to start your clean beauty adventure.
I have put together this DIY Clean gift box that includes my favorites filled with all things clean and cruelty free from primer to vegan cosmetic cases, 15 products in total.
If you are ready, let’s dive into it!
Illuminator
The first product I put in this gift box is the Vapour’s HALO ILLUMINATOR. It is formulated with Vapour’s Herbal Enlightenment Complex of Frankincense, Tulsi and Lotus to support healthy glowing skin. Made with 70% organic ingredients, non-toxic and cruelty-free. What I love about this illuminator are that it’s so easy to apply with its silky smooth, lightweight and blend-able texture.
Also, this illumination stick will not clog pores which is why I love it so much. It gives such a beautiful healthy glow which you can use it day or night, at work or a night out.
I always apply it on the center of my forehead, under the brow, top of cheekbone, along the nose and on cupid’s bow. But you can actually apply it on the inner corner of your eyes, center of chin and use it to add some glow to your shoulders, collarbones and décolletage.
This Vapour’s HALO ILLUMINATOR will be a perfect gift for this upcoming holiday for those who seek for clean, cruelty free and glowy skin.
Two in one balm for perfect lips and cheeks. I love these balms a lot because they give such pretty colors and help to moisturize your skin and lips at the same time. They smell so good!
Vegan Cosmetic Case
I’ve picked a few transparent vegan makeup cases for you here. The reason why I choose transparent bags is because you can see through the bag which makes it a lot easier for you to find your products.
I hope you get some ideas on what products to put in your own holiday clean makeup gift box this year. I made this box for my sister so I hope she will enjoy all of the products!
Thank you for stopping by allaboutgoodvibes.com today. I will be posting more clean beauty products and holiday gift guides here soon. So make sure you stop by.
Have a wonderful week, love!
